My name is Tyus Carter, Founder and President of Aria Home Buyers. I’d like to take a moment to share the story behind our company and what drives us.

While Aria Home Buyers officially launched a year ago, the roots of our mission trace back to 2008, during the housing crisis. That year, my grandmother lost her home — an experience that deeply impacted me. I made a promise to myself that I would do everything I could to prevent others from facing similar hardships.

In 2019, after attending a Real Estate Investors Association (REIA) meeting in Washington, DC, I took a leap of faith into the world of real estate. What began as an interest in rental properties quickly turned into a passion. I immersed myself in learning everything I could about real estate — from rentals to renovations — and eventually took the big step to pursue it full-time.

Aria Home Buyers started with humble beginnings. There was no overnight success — just consistent effort, a commitment to helping homeowners, and a desire to make a difference. By late 2020, our momentum picked up and we began expanding our small but dedicated team.

Tyus Carter – Founder/President

Tyus Carter, Founder and President of Aria Home Buyers, was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended Shades Valley High School and went on to earn a full athletic scholarship to The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, where he received both a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Following his academic journey, Mr. Carter began his career as an IT Staff Auditor at a Big Four accounting firm. In that role, he conducted risk assessments and evaluated key IT systems and internal controls for high-profile clients and mission-critical applications.

Although he excelled in the corporate world, Mr. Carter felt a deeper calling — one rooted in a personal experience from the 2008 housing crisis, when his grandmother lost her home. That moment ignited a mission: to help homeowners facing difficult situations find real solutions, without stress or pressure.

In 2019, he founded Aria Home Buyers with the goal of serving homeowners with honesty, empathy, and professionalism. Since then, he has remained committed to providing homeowners with a better way to sell — one that puts people first.
